Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adolescents with NSSI who will be included in this study will meet the diagnostic criteria for non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5). Participants and their legal guardians are willing to provide informed consent, and participants are fluent in the language required for the study to ensure effective communication and data collection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: This study will exclude those individuals with current suicidal intent or behavior, as well as patients with serious psychiatric illness, drug or alcohol abuse or dependence issues. Adolescents who are currently receiving psychotherapy or medication that may affect the results of the study, or who have severe cognitive impairment, somatic disease, or neurological disorder that could affect the results of the study or the safety of the participant, will also be excluded.
