Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients remained in a state of consciousness disorder 30 days following the onset of brain injury; 2.the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score on the day of onset ranged from 3 to 12; 3.patients remained in a state of vegetative state(VS) or a minimally conscious minus state (MCS-) 30 days post-onset; 4.aged between 18 and 80 years; 5.the Full Outline of Unresponsiveness Scale (FOUR) score was =14 points at 30 days post-onset; 6.The primary etiological conditions included traumatic brain injury, stroke, or hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. 7.Patients received standard rehabilitation treatment after discharge; 8.comply with treatment and follow-up procedures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.history of malignant tumor disease; 2.history of prior mental illness; 3.status epilepticus; 4.hydrocephalus without prior shunt surgery;
