Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Onset occurs between 3 to 6 weeks, with ages ranging from 18 to 55 years; 2. Clinical examination shows reduced or absent sensation in the areas innervated by the affected nerves, with muscle strength at grades 0-3; 3. EMG examination: the motor conduction velocity (MCV) of the affected nerves is slowed by more than 30%, fibrillation potentials and positive sharp waves are observed in muscles innervated by the affected nerves, motor units are decreased or show weak contractions, strong contractions present as simple or complex phases, confirming incomplete peripheral nerve injury of the upper limbs.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with complete nerve injury indicated by EMG examination who require surgical treatment; 2. Patients with contraindications to electrotherapy such as those with a pacemaker, acute myocardial infarction, or severe valvular heart disease; 3. Patients with multiple demyelinating peripheral neuropathies; 4. Patients with lesions affecting the anterior horn of the spinal cord; 5. Patients with skin damage, local infection, or edema.
