Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Index patient: 1. Sign informed consent. In the case of minors, a parent or an authorized adult representative will be required to sign. Informed consent/consent for voluntary participation should be obtained in accordance with local requirements. Age >=12 years at the time of signing; 2. According to the investigator's judgment, can comply with the study visit; 3. Patients with acute infectious symptoms or a laboratory-confirmed respiratory viral infection before or during hospitalization. For exposed persons: 1. Sign informed consent. In the case of minors, a parent or an authorized adult representative will be required to sign. Informed consent/consent for voluntary participation should be obtained in accordance with local requirements. Age >=12 years at the time of signing; 2. According to the investigator's judgment, can comply with the study visit; 3. All room contacts (including family members remaining in the hospital) who shared a room with the index patient for >=15 minutes at any time during the study period; 4. There were no positive respiratory viruses on the basis of laboratory testing at the day 1 visit

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Index patient: 1. Those who do not cooperate for various reasons; 2. Acute symptoms of infection occurred after admission but no respiratory virus infection was finally diagnosed. For exposed persons: 1. Patients with symptoms of respiratory infection before exposure; 2. Patients with symptoms of respiratory infection within 24 hours after exposure; 3. Refusal to participate in the study
