Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >18 years old; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria for type 2 diabetes as stipulated in the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Diabetes (2024 Edition) 3. Complete materials, signed informed consent forms and willing to participate in the researcher.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Other types of DM except T2DM; 2. Those with complications of acute diabetes 3. Those with chronic complications of diabetes such as diabetic retinopathy and diabetic cardiomyopathy; 4. Patients with severe trauma or infection and Wagner grade 1-5 5. Pregnant or lactating patients; 6. Those with chronic diseases such as coronary heart disease, heart failure, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease; 7. History of concurrent pernicious anemia, cancer, Addison's disease, intestinal tuberculosis, celiac disease, irritable bowel disease or gastrointestinal surgery 8. Excluding patients with acid-base balance disorders, alcohol abuse or other drug addiction history, and mental disorders; 9. Exclude those who are currently taking any of the following medications: phenytoin sodium, primidone, colchicine, isoniazid, hydralazine, methotrexate, antibiotics, and other drugs that affect gastrointestinal motility 10. Vegetarian.
