Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years, no gender restrictions; 2. Diagnosed with T2DM according to the diagnostic criteria established in the Chinese Diabetes Prevention and Treatment Guidelines (2024 Edition); 3. Complete laboratory and general medical records; 4. Willing to participate and sign an informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Other types of diabetes; 2. Acute diabetic complications such as diabetic ketoacidosis or hyperosmolar hyperglycemic state; 3. Diseases affecting bone metabolism, including hyperparathyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and rheumatoid arthritis; 4. Use of medications affecting bone metabolism within the past three months, such as vitamin D, calcium supplements, bisphosphonates, or glucocorticoids; 5. Severe systemic diseases such as serious infections, severe cardiac, hepatic, or renal impairment (heart failure, uremia, serum total bilirubin > 171 µmol/L, or direct bilirubin > 34 µmol/L; prothrombin activity 707 µmol/L, BUN > 28.6 mmol/L), severe water, electrolyte, and acid-base imbalances (e.g., serum potassium > 6.5 mmol/L, metabolic acidosis pH < 7.2), malignant tumors, etc.; 6. Patients with T2DM who have received insulin therapy within the past three months; 7. Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking long-term oral contraceptives.
