Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 60 years; 2. Neck pain persists for more than 12 weeks (3 months), with a pain intensity numerical rating scale >=3; 3. Neck Disability Index (NDI) >= 10.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The history of specific possible causes of neck pain, such as head or neck trauma, radicular cervical spondylopathy, spinal cord lesions, central or peripheral nerve diseases or symptoms, malignant tumors, vertebral fractures, and infections; 2. History of shoulder and neck surgery; 3. Serious medical history that restricts participation in Baduanjin includes but is not limited to: serious injuries, dementia, neurological diseases, symptomatic heart or vascular diseases (such as angina, peripheral vascular disease, congestive heart failure, and severe hypertension), recent strokes, severe insulin-dependent diabetes, mental illnesses, kidney diseases, liver diseases, active tumors, or severe anemia; 4. Pregnancy; 5. Have taken pain relievers other than non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or are currently undergoing treatment with the aforementioned medications in the past 3 months; 6. Has received physical therapy for neck pain in the past 6 months; 7. Practiced Baduanjin regularly in the past 6 months (with regular practice defined as at least once a week); 8. Participated in similar research in the past year, which may have a significant impact on the results of this study; 9. Unable to cooperate with follow-up, education, intervention, and other experimental processes; 10. Unable to communicate with others in Chinese.
