18 Years to 55 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Depression Group: (1) Meets DSM-5 clinical diagnostic criteria for depression; (2) Age >=18 years and <=55 years; (3) First-episode depression patients who have not undergone electroconvulsive therapy within the past six months; (4) Able to understand and cooperate with the ePrime paradigm; (5) Normal visual function and right-handedness. 2.Health Group: (1) Matched with the depression group in terms of age, gender, and education level; (2) Not currently taking or having taken within the past 4 weeks any antidepressants, anxiolytics, sedatives, antipsychotics, or hormonal medications (e.g., cortisol); (3) Voluntarily participating in this study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with organic brain disease or severe unstable physical illness (e.g., heart disease). 2. Use of medications or psychoactive substances affecting cognitive function within 2 weeks prior to enrollment. 3. History of electroconvulsive therapy within the past 6 months.
