Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age 12-25 years old; 7 points<=Hamilton Depression Scale -17 items score<=17 points; 2.Meets the diagnostic criteria of subthreshold depression: 1.Meet 2 or more but fewer than 5 symptoms from the diagnostic criteria for Major Depressive Disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, with at least 1 symptom being either depressed mood or loss of interest/pleasure. These symptoms must persist for most or all of the time, as specified below: 1. Depressed mood most of the day, nearly every day; Markedly diminished interest or pleasure in all or almost all activities, nearly every day; Significant weight loss (without dieting), weight gain, or nearly daily decrease/increase in appetite; Insomnia or hypersomnia nearly every day; Psychomotor agitation or retardation nearly every day; Fatigue or loss of energy nearly every day; Feelings of worthlessness or excessive/inappropriate guilt nearly every day; Diminished ability to think, concentrate, or indecisiveness nearly every day; Recurrent thoughts of death, suicidal ideation without a specific plan, suicide attempt, or a specific suicide plan. 2. Duration: Symptoms persist for at least 2 weeks; 3. Functional Impairment: Significant impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning. 3.Minimum educational level of junior high school or equivalent; 4.Signed a written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Severe negativity, suicidal tendencies or Hamilton Depression Scale - score >= 3 on item 17; 2.Severe physical disease; 3.Meets the DSM-5 diagnosis of depressive episode, bipolar disorder, or other mental disorder; 4.Previous or current use of psychiatric medications, undergoing psychotherapy; 5.Close relative pass away or experiencing a major life event in the past year;
