Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with traumatic brain injury from whom cerebrospinal fluid and plasma samples were collected and preserved at 7 days post-onset; 2.The Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score on the day of onset ranged from 3 to 12; 3.Age: 18 to 65 years.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Mortality during hospitalization or follow-up; 2.Do not consent to participate in this study; 3.Concomitant obstructive hydrocephalus; 4.Acute hydrocephalus following brain injury; 5.Concomitant uncontrolled intracranial infection; 6.Concomitant status epilepticus; 7.Concomitant renal insufficiency; 8.History of prior neuropsychiatric disorders; 9.Patients identified during follow-up who developed hydrocephalus and declined ventriculoperitoneal shunting or lumbar cistern drainage.
