Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.a. DR group (PDR group and NPDR group): Diagnosis of DR was confirmed by 90D anterior microscopy, SLO, OCT and FFA, etc. according to the 2022 guideline of the Chinese Glucose Network and divided into two groups: PDR group and NPDR. a. DR group (PDR group, NPDR group): After 90D anterior microscopy, SLO, OCT and FFA, DR is diagnosed according to the 2022 China Sugar Network Guidelines and divided into two groups: PDR group and NPDR group. Positive control group (with DM and without DR): type 2 diabetes mellitus diagnosed by endocrinology department, and no DR by 90D anterior microscopy and SLO examination. Positive control group (with DM without DR): diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus by endocrinology, and no DR by 90D anterior microscopy and SLO; negative control group (without DM without DR): no history of diabetes mellitus, and normal fasting and 2-hour postprandial glucose. Negative control group (no DM and no DR): no history of diabetes, normal fasting blood glucose and postprandial blood glucose measurements. 2. Enrolled diabetic patients had fasting blood glucose =0.06.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of intraocular surgery such as cataract, glaucoma, intravitreal injection, vitrectomy, etc. in the past 3 months; 2. Patients with a history of eye trauma and undergoing surgical treatment; 3. Patients with other eye diseases that seriously affect the refractive interstitium and prevent clear visualization of the fundus, such as severe cataracts (severe lens opacity), retinal diseases, uveitis, vitreous hemorrhage, etc; 4. Patients with combined wet age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, choroidal neovascularization, high myopia, retinal detachment, and other retinal changes; 5. Patients with poor overall condition who cannot tolerate surgical treatment, such as liver and kidney failure, heart failure, etc.
