Anterior urethral stricture disease

Interventions

Group A (Tamoxifen):Oral tamoxifen 10 mg twice daily for 6 months, starting immediately after internal optical urethrotomy (IOU). 16 Fr Foley catheter placed for 5–7 days post-surgery.
Group B (Mitomycin C):Single intraoperative intralesional injection of mitomycin C (10 mg/mL) at the urethrotomy site. 16 Fr Foley catheter placed for 5–7 days post-surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male, >=18 years; 2. Anterior urethral stricture =12; 5. Provided written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Posterior urethral stricture; 2. Previous urethral surgery other than IOU; 3. Active urinary tract infection; 4. Urethral malignancy; 5. Uncontrolled comorbidities. 6. Contraindications to study drugs
