18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age>= 18 years old 2. Elective non-cardiac and non-intracranial medium-to-high-risk surgery is planned, with an estimated operation time of >1h and a postoperative hospital stay of > 24h 3. Subjects or family members are able to understand the study protocol and are willing to participate in this study, providing written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnancy status 2. Long-term living in an area above > 2500 meters above sea level, or recently living in an area above 2500 meters for more than 3 months 3. Suffering from hematologic diseases other than anemia 4. Presence of severe comorbidities that may interfere with outcome measures, such as uremia and psychiatric neurological diseases 5. Those who are unable to cooperate or understand the conditions and objectives of this study, and refuse to sign informed consent
