65 Years to No maximum

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 65 years; 2. ASA classification I-III; 3. NYHA cardiac function class I-II; 4. Elective abdominal surgery under general anesthesia, with surgical duration >= 2 h; 5. No neurodegenerative diseases or cognitive impairment preoperatively.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age < 65 years; 2. ASA classification IV-VI and/or NYHA cardiac function class III-IV; 3. Coexisting neurological disorders; 4. Use of sedative or psychiatric medications within the past 3 months; 5. Patients with significant cardiac, renal, or pulmonary diseases; 6. History of platelet abnormalities; 7. Severe hearing impairment or language communication difficulties; 8. Emergency surgery; 9. Intraoperative cardiac arrest, ventricular fibrillation, or other events requiring resuscitation; 10. Postoperative loss to follow-up (early discharge, voluntary withdrawal, or non-cooperation); 11. Patients requiring long-term postoperative sedative use; 12. Patients developing postoperative complications such as arrhythmia, cerebral infarction, or infection.
