Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Voluntarily join the study and sign the informed consent form; 2. Age >= 60 years, classified as ASA II or III by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, gender unrestricted; 3. Preoperative Mini-mental State Examination (MMSE) score: Depending on the patient's education level, illiteracy > 17 points, elementary school ( 20 points, middle school or above (> 6 years of education) > 24 points.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Individuals with hearing impairments, those unable to communicate effectively, or those with speech disabilities; 2. Those with co-occurring mental illnesses, long-term use of antipsychotic medications, or those who abuse antidepressants; 3. Those with a history of severe cardiovascular diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage or myocardial infarction, combined with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, or other neurological disorders; 4. Those with severe systemic diseases, such as severe heart disease, stage IV chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), renal failure, liver failure, and other severe systemic conditions.
