Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. First ankle sprain occurred more than 12 months ago. 2. At least one episode of ankle sprain with swelling, pain, and temporary functional impairment within the past 3 months prior to enrollment. 3. Reported two or more episodes of "giving way" (a sensation of ankle instability during daily activities or sports, accompanied by fear of re-injury) in the 6 months preceding enrollment. 4. Cumberland Ankle Instability Questionnaire (CAIT) score <= 24.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. The patient has a history of lower limb trauma or surgery within the past 3 months 2. The patient has a history of chronic diseases, such as vestibular disorders, epilepsy, stroke and other neurological diseases, as well as a history of heart disease, cancer, mental disorders and migraines, etc. 3. Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or otherwise unable to cooperate to complete the test. 4. Patients with metal implants in their bodies who are not suitable for tDCS intervention and TMS examination
