Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Patients aged 60 or above with knee osteoarthritis. (2) Meeting the diagnostic criteria for osteoarthritis as stipulated in the "Chinese Guidelines for Diagnosis and Treatment of Osteoarthritis (2024 Edition)" by the Orthopedic Society of China. (3) Having experienced pain symptoms for more than three months, with a knee pain score of 0 < VAS pain score < 7; and a Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index score (0 - 240 points) <= 120 for mild to moderate patients. (4) Clear consciousness, normal cognitive function, and able to communicate normally through writing or language. (5) Capable of walking independently without the aid of tools and able to complete appropriate exercises by themselves. (6) Voluntarily participating in this study and signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suffering from severe underlying diseases such as heart failure and malignant tumors. (2) Having severe mental disorders such as depression, or being a cancer patient and unable to cooperate. (3) Having a history of trauma or ligament injury, or undergoing joint replacement surgery within 6 months. (4) Patients with severe joint deformities and those who are unable to move during the acute stage. (5) Those who have received drug or physical therapy for knee OA within one month. (6) Patients currently undergoing regular exercise therapy.
