18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients between 18 and 80 year old; 2. Patients diagnosed with sepsis according to the Third International Consensus Definition of Sepsis and Septic Shock (Sepsis-3) during their first admission to the ICU.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a hospital stay of less than 72 hours; 2. Patients who tested their blood glucose fewer than three times and did not measure their glycated hemoglobin.
