Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria for the AECOPD group: meeting the GOLD 2025 diagnostic criteria for AECOPD; aged 40-80 years, with a smoking history of >=10 pack-years; not having used antibiotics or probiotics in the past 7 days; completing baseline sampling before the administration of antibiotics after admission. Healthy control group: aged 40-80 years; gender distribution similar to that of the AECOPD group; no antibiotic or probiotic use within the past 7 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for the AECOPD group: history of digestive tract diseases. Exclusion criteria for the healthy control group: individuals with respiratory or digestive system diseases.
