Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for severe sepsis patients: ICU days = 8 days and at least one of the following clinical characteristics, including: (1) PMV; (2) tracheotomy; (3) sepsis or other severe infections; (4) severe trauma; (5) multiple organ failure, cerebral ischemia, cerebral hemorrhage, or craniocerebral trauma. 2. Age >= 18 years old; 3. Cooperate with the follow-up personnel.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Those with a history of diabetes or other endocrine diseases related to nutritional metabolism; 2. Patients with digestive system diseases and history of gastrointestinal surgery; 3. Patients with malignant tumors; 4. Those who have had severe organic lesions in the past.
