Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years, regardless of gender; 2.Histologically or cytologically confirmed diagnosis of non-small-cell lung cancer; 3.The cachexia group includes cancer patients who meet the Fearon criteria of BMI and weight loss: involuntary weight loss of >5% within 6 months prior to investigation irrespective of BMI, or BMI 2% within 6 months prior to investigation; 4.The control group includes weight-stable cancer patients who do not meet the Fearon criteria; 5.Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status <= 3, with an expected survival of more than 4 months; 6.No history of severe cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, or other major organ dysfunction; 7.Informed consent form signed by the patient or a legally authorized representative.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Pregnant or lactating women; 2.The patient is unable to comprehend the study’s objectives or declines to comply with its requirements; 3.The patient lacks full legal capacity or has restricted legal capacity; 4.Any other factor that the investigator believes places the patient at potential risk or interferes with study results.
