Interventions

THRIVE : Using THRIVE to provide ventilation at a rate of 70L/min after spontaneous breathing cessation,
THRIVE combined with Manujet III jet ventilation :After cessation of spontaneous breathing, initiate THRIVE ventilation at 70L/min
then switch to Manujet III jet ventilation once the surgeon has positioned the laryngoscope.

Age
18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Age between 18 and 65 years old; 2) Scheduled for elective vocal cord polyp excision under support laryngoscope; 3) Patient's Body Mass Index (BMI) < 30 kg/m^2; 4) American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I-II; 5) Stable general condition with good respiratory function reserve; 6) Voluntarily participate in this clinical study and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients undergoing laser surgery for vocal cord polyps; 2) Anticipated difficult airway; 3) Basilar skull fracture; 4) Coagulopathy, tendency for nasal bleeding, active bleeding in the airway; 5) Pregnancy, severe gastroesophageal reflux disease, and neuromuscular diseases; 6) Poor airway protection, high risk of aspiration; 7) Infection in the nasal cavity and oropharynx.
