Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants must be Chinese nationals aged 60 years or older with terminal illness (life expectancy =8), be conscious and possess basic communication abilities (MMSE >=18), and have at least one direct family member willing to participate in the family-centered intervention.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion includes patients critically ill and unable to tolerate the intervention, those with severe psychiatric disorders or significant cognitive impairment (MMSE <15), lack of stable family support, recent major negative life events, or current participation in other psychological intervention trials.
