Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 65-85 years old; 2. 18 kg/m^2 < BMI < 28 kg/m^2; 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III; 4. Patients scheduled for carotid endarterectomy; 5. Informed consent was obtained from patients and their families;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of cardiovascular diseases such as severe hypertension (systolic blood pressure >=180 mmHg), unstable angina pectoris, severe arrhythmia, and cardiac insufficiency; 2. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction; 3. Respiratory failure (PaO2<60mmHg); 4. History of stroke less than 3 months; 5. Carotid artery occlusion; 6. Allergic to drugs such as ciprofol and propofol and their components; 7. Patients with a history of mental illness or dementia who were unable to cooperate with the study; 8. Patients with unclear temporal window ultrasound exposure.
