Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Admitted to the ICU ward; Age > 18 years; Unexplained pulmonary infection or existing complex infection requiring bronchoscopy for diagnosis; Clinical judgment indicates the need for mNGS and sputum culture tests for examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant; Previously diagnosed with multiple drug-resistant bacterial infections; Tracheoesophageal fistula; Recent pulmonary or thoracic surgery.
