Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Cranial brain injury is the primary etiological factor, confirmed by cranial CT and/or MRI examination, accompanied by impaired consciousness, with the causative factors being traumatic, stroke-related, or hypoxic-ischemic. 2. Duration of impaired consciousness is more than 28 days. 3. The level of conscious impairment was assessed using the CRS-R scale as unresponsive wakefulness syndrome (UWS) or minimal consciousness state (MCS). 4. Vital signs meet the criteria for early rehabilitation intervention. 5. The patient's family would voluntarily provide informed consent and sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients are in critical condition with unstable vital signs. 2.The patients have unstable intracranial conditions (active cerebral hemorrhage, secondary traumatic brain injury, severe hydrocephalus, etc.); 3.The patients have intracranial metal implants. 4.The patients have pacemakers. 5.The patients have intracranial tumors, infectious encephalopathy, or metabolic encephalopathy. 6.The patients have a recent onset of epilepsy. 7.Skin infection or damage is present at the site of cranial stimulation.
