Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Consulted and received surgical treatment at this hospital, with no prior radiotherapy or chemotherapy before surgery; 2. Pathologically diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma; 3. The patient's medical history, surgical records, and pathological data are complete; preoperative examinations including routine blood tests, blood biochemistry tests, chest X-rays, and neck computed tomography (CT) scans were completed; 4. Postoperative follow-up duration of more than 1 year.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosis of cancer in other parts of the body during the same period or a history of cancer; 2. Having received other anti-cancer treatments before surgery; 3. Patients with acute infections, immune system diseases, or hematological system diseases.
