18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1Age: 18 to 80 years old; 2. Pathologically confirmed as primary single rectal cancer, with no metastasis to surrounding organs or distant sites, and preoperative clinical stage cT1-3N0-1M0; 3. The distance between the tumor and the anal margin is no more than 10 cm. 4. The preoperative assessment met the indications for anus preservation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with an American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) classification > III; 2. Patients who received preoperative radiotherapy; 3. Patients with a previous history of rectal surgery; 4. Patients with inflammatory bowel disease, familial polyposis or other malignant tumors; 5. Patients who need emergency surgery for various reasons; 6. Patients who refuse surgical treatment.
