Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients (18–65 years old) having American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status of I-II undergoing middle ear endoscopic surgery under general anesthesia were enrolled .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to study medications or to dextran 40, moderate hepatic dysfunction, metabolic disease, and acute glaucoma were excluded.
