Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Students majoring in badminton at Hubei University for Nationalities who engage in moderate to high-intensity exercise (= 70% maximum heart rate) for 14-18 hours per week. (2) There are no absolute or relative contraindications to hyperbaric oxygen therapy [18-19]. (3) Normal comprehension and expression abilities. (4) Physically and mentally healthy, with good sleep quality, no mental anxiety, easy nervousness, or claustrophobia. (5) After understanding the entire experimental process, I am still willing to cooperate with the research team to complete all experiments.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) We cannot guarantee the completion of intervention tasks every day. (2) Moderate to high-intensity exercise for less than 14 hours or more than 18 hours per week. (3) After professional testing by the hospital, there are absolute contraindications, relative contraindications, or allergies to lycopene for HBO. (4) Individuals who have taken antioxidants or medications that affect lycopene absorption (such as vitamin C, vitamin E, astaxanthin, etc.) in the past month. (5) There are currently patients receiving treatment for physical illnesses. (6) In the past month, there have been sports injuries that have affected normal training or participation in other intervention subjects. (7) Other participants are not suitable for this study.
