Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: MDD Group: (1)Meets the diagnostic criteria for depression as defined in ICD-10 or DSM-5, and does not meet the other diagnoses specified in Axis I of DSM-IV; (2)Aged 18-65, regardless of gender; (3)A secondary school education or above; (4)No drug dependence or abuse; 5)Not pregnant or breastfeeding; HC Group: (1)The M.I.N.I. assessment did not meet the diagnostic criteria for any type of mental disorder. Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Those who meet the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, mental retardation, pervasive developmental disorder, delirium, dementia, memory disorder, or other cognitive disorders; 2.Those with severe and unstable physical illnesses, as well as those diagnosed with diabetes, thyroid diseases, hypertension, heart disease, etc; 3.A history of craniocerebral trauma that caused loss of consciousness, or a history of epilepsy; 4.There are obvious finger movement dysfunctions (unable to click the mouse and buttons) or hearing impairments (unable to clearly hear the music played in the headphones); 5.Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; 6.Those with metals, stents, or other contraindications for magnetic resonance scanning in their bodies. 7.Those who have undergone electroconvulsive therapy within 6 months;
