Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment in the Department of Orthodontics, either without extractions or with extraction of four premolars. 2.For extraction cases, the maxillary or mandibular incisors must be retracted horizontally by >= 3 mm. 3.Midline deviation of teeth < 3 mm;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Missing teeth or supernumerary teeth; 2.History of anterior tooth trauma; 3.Nasal-palatine related diseases; 4.Moderate to severe periodontitis; 5.Presence of congenital anomalies or other craniofacial syndromes;
