Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with schizophrenia: 1. Age 18-55 years old, gender is not limited; 2. Patients included in the investigation stage meet the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder in the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related HealthProblems 10th Revision (ICD-10), and are diagnosed by a deputy chief physician of the Department of Psychiatry or above; 3. Patients included in the follow-up trial phase must also meet the diagnostic criteria for schizophrenia in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5). 4. Patients in the investigation stage are inpatients, and the follow-up evaluation and examination patients include inpatients and outpatients, with stable condition, maintenance of drug treatment regimen for at least 2 weeks, and no obvious fluctuations in acute symptoms; right-handed; Able to understand and cooperate with the completion of experiments; 5. Magnetic resonance imaging sequences acquired during the investigation phase, including T1WI, T2WI, FLAIR, and DWI; 6. Voluntarily participate in this study, and the patient and/or his legal guardian signs the informed consent form. Healthy controls: 1. Age 18-55 years old, gender is not limited; 2. Right-handed; 3. Able to understand and cooperate with the completion of experiments; 4. Voluntarily participate in this study, and the patient or his legal guardian signs the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous history of cranial tumor, intracranial infection, or traumatic brain injury; 2. History of substance use disorder within one year; 3. Severe organic diseases; 4. There are contraindications to magnetic resonance scanning, such as metal in the body, pacemaker, etc.; 5. Invasive brain stimulation such as deep brain stimulation therapy; 6. The patient and/or his legal guardian refuses to participate in this study; 7. Other conditions that the investigator believes are not suitable for participation in this study.
