Age
65 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age between 65 and 80 years, planned for gastrointestinal EMR (Boston score >= 6 points); 2. ASA classification II-III, baseline MMSE >= 24 points (illiterate >= 17 points); 3. Body mass index (BMI) 18-28 kg/m^2; 4. Voluntarily signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy to benzodiazepines or propofol; 2. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction (Child-Pugh Class C or eGFR <30 mL/min/1.73m^2); 3. Severe cardiovascular disease (NYHA Class III-IV heart failure, unstable angina); 4. Difficult airway or high ventilation risk; 5. Long-term use of sedatives or opioids; 6. Cognitive dysfunction (MMSE <24 points); 7. Emergency surgery.
