Pain after hip replacement surgery

Interventions

A:Group A patients received ultrasound-guided anterior quadratus lumborum block at the end of surgery, with an injection of 30 ml of 0.375% ropivacaine between the quadratus lumborum and psoas major m
B:Group B patients received an epidural injection of 2 mg morphine through the epidural catheter at the end of the surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients indicated for total hip arthroplasty, undergoing unilateral surgery; 2.Classified as ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists.physical status I-III; 3.No life-threatening diseases of important organs such as heart, lung, brain, liver, and kidney; 4.No recent use of sedatives, opioids, or other analgesic drugs; 5.Normal preoperative muscle strength.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Contraindication to receiving neuraxial anesthesia, history of psychiatric disorders; 2.History of spinal surgery or trauma, back infection; 3.Coagulopathy or currently undergoing anticoagulant therapy; 4.Allergy to local anesthetic agents; 5.Central nervous system diseases, especially spinal cord or spinal nerve root lesions.
