Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.AD patients met the diagnostic criteria for Alzheimer's disease according to the National Institute of Neurological and Communicative Disorders and Stroke–Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association (NINCDS-ADRDA) criteria and the revised 2024 NIA-AA guidelines. Diagnosis was confirmed by specialists from the neurology dementia clinic and the geriatrics memory clinic, based on comprehensive assessment including clinical symptoms, medical history, neurological physical examination, neuropsychological scale scores, and neuroimaging findings. 2.All AD patients underwent PET/CT brain metabolic imaging. 3.Age >= 60 years. 4.Complete clinical data were available. 5.Medical record data of healthy population at health examination center from December 2023 to July 2025, expected to be 100 cases.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with severe hepatic, renal, cardiac, or pulmonary dysfunction; malignancies of any type; or infectious diseases; 2.Presence of psychiatric disorders such as depression; 3.Other types of dementia, including normal pressure hydrocephalus, frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson’s disease dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, and vascular dementia; 4.History of masticatory muscle trauma or surgery.
