18 Years to 90 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-90 were included if they had been continuously diagnosed with IBS for at least six months. IBS was diagnosed based on a combination of patient symptoms and colonoscopy results.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), lactose intolerance, hyperthyroidism.
