Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years; 2. Clear diagnosis: The diagnosis criteria for nerve root type LDH are specified in the 'Guideline for Diagnosis and Treatment of Lumbar Disc Herniation' and the 'NASS Guidelines of the American Spine Society', and clinically confirmed by symptoms (lumbar and leg pain, limb numbness, neurological compression symptoms) and imaging examinations (MRI or CT) as nerve root type lumbar disc herniation, with a VAS score >= 4. 3. Not having undergone surgical treatment; 4. Able to cooperate in the evaluation and treatment; 5. Understanding and willing to participate in this clinical trial and provide a signed informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Combined with other lumbar spine diseases, such as spinal fractures, spondylolisthesis, scoliosis, spinal tumors or infections, etc; 2.Severe neurological damage: There is cauda equina syndrome (such as perineal numbness and dysfunction of urination and defecation), or severe neurological dysfunction with muscle strength <= grade 3. 3.Inflammation or infection: There is a significant local or systemic infection (such as lumbar tuberculosis, suppurative spondylitis), or laboratory tests suggest a significant infection (with significantly elevated WBC, CRP or ESR). 4.Severe internal diseases: Those with serious organic lesions in organs such as the liver and kidneys. 5.Pregnancy or lactation: During pregnancy or lactation, tetrandrine may affect the health of the fetus or infant. 6.Mental illness or poor compliance: Patients with severe mental illness (such as depression, schizophrenia), or those who are unable to complete follow-up and scoring as required. 7.Those who are allergic to tetrandrine;
