Fungal pathogen detected by metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) in sputum or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), ??OR?? Histopathological evidence of fungal infection (e.g., hyphae or yeast forms on tissue biopsy). ??Imaging Requirements:?? High-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) of the chest performed ??within 72 hours before treatment initiation??, with: Slice thickness ??= 5 mm??. ??Clinical Data:?? Complete ??immunological status?? documentation, including: HIV infection status and ??CD4+ T-cell count?? (if applicable), History of ??organ transplantation??, Use of ??immunosuppressive agents??. Baseline inflammatory markers: ??C-reactive protein (CRP)??, ??Procalcitonin (PCT)??. ??Treatment and follow-up data?? (e.g., antifungal regimen, clinical response, and imaging progression).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Polymicrobial infections?? (e.g., fungal-bacterial or fungal-mycobacterial coinfections). ??Non-diagnostic CT scans??
