Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria of the "Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 Prevention and Treatment Guidelines of China" (2020 Edition); 2. Patients who meet the diagnostic criteria for periodontitis as stated in the fifth edition of "Periodontology" published in 2020; 3. At least 2 functional teeth in one quarter of the mouth; 4. Age between 18 and 75 years old; 5. Have given informed consent to undergo oral periodontal examination and be able to cooperate in completing the questionnaire survey; 6. All patients can attend follow-up visits and follow-up appointments on time.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with incomplete follow-up and re-examination data; 2. Those with other serious acute or chronic diseases or complications that affect clinical efficacy; 3. Those who have received periodontal treatment within the past 1 year; 4. Those who have taken oral antibacterial drugs recently; 5. Pregnant and lactating women.
