Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion Criteria for Case Group All study subjects in the case group must meet the following inclusion criteria: (1). Age >= 14 years old. (2). Patients meet the clinical diagnostic criteria for acute myocarditis [1] (see Chinese Guidelines for Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult Myocarditis (2024) for details). (3). Signed the informed consent form. 2.Inclusion Criteria for Control Group All study subjects in the control group must meet the following inclusion criteria: (1). Non-myocarditis patients with no previous history of myocarditis. (2). The sampling time does not exceed 3 days from the first sampling of the matched case. (3). Gender is consistent with the matched case, and age is similar to the matched case (±2 years). (4). Signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclusion Criteria for Case Group (1). Acute coronary syndrome (2). Stress-induced cardiomyopathy (3). Cardiac trauma or cardiac surgery within 1 month (4). Acute exacerbation of chronic heart failure (5). Infiltrative cardiomyopathy (6). Septic cardiomyopathy (7). Acute pulmonary embolism (8). Stanford type A aortic dissection (9). Acute cerebrovascular accident (10). Metabolic diseases such as diabetic ketoacidosis and thyroid storm (11). Isolated acute pericarditis 2.Exclusion Criteria for Control Group History of known heart disease or recent (within 1 month) symptoms related to respiratory/gastrointestinal viral infections.
