Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) College students aged 18–30 (2) Right-handed individuals (Edinburgh Handedness Scale) (3) Passed the pre-exercise risk screening PAR-Q questionnaire (modified version).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Health conditions that may worsen with exercise or affect safe participation: including uncontrolled cardiovascular disease, severe respiratory disease, recent (within 6 months) serious musculoskeletal injury, chronic pain or arthritis significantly impacting mobility, neurological disorders affecting physical performance, uncontrolled metabolic disorders, other severe systemic diseases (e.g., active hepatitis, renal failure, cancer), or any physical disability preventing completion of basic movements. (2) Significant psychological conditions substantially affecting stress/emotional assessment or intervention efficacy: Currently diagnosed mental disorders. (3) High-level athletic training/professional skills or regular exercise habits: - Athletes with specialized sports training; - Core members or registered participants in martial arts, sanda, taekwondo, aerobics, dance, or similar associations; - Regular engagement in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity >=3 times weekly for >=30 minutes per session within the past 6 months. (4) Experience with Baduanjin/Qigong: Systematic study or regular practice of Baduanjin or other Qigong techniques for over 4 weeks (=1 session per week) within the past year.
