Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients clinically diagnosed with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation; 2.Patients who meet the surgical indications and undergo percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy at Xuzhou Medical University Affiliated Hospital; 3.Patients aged over 18 years old with complete medical records and follow-up data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients for whom the imaging data cannot be retrieved from the medical record system; 2.Patients who choose to undergo other surgical treatments during this treatment and observation period; 3.Patients who fail to complete the follow-up; 4.Patients with other lumbar diseases, such as spinal compression fractures, lumbar spondylolisthesis of grade II or above, ankylosing spondylitis, bony lumbar spinal canal stenosis, and spinal tumors. 5.Patients with other serious diseases or complications, such as heart diseases, kidney diseases, tumors, etc. These diseases may affect the surgical outcomes and the patients' recovery, thus influencing the prediction of the prognosis.
