Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. Clinically diagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis; 3. Fully informed and consented to participate in the trial. Note: Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is diagnosed if the total score reaches 6 or more based on the new classification criteria jointly developed by ACR and EULAR in 2010 (referred to as the ACR/EULAR 2010 Criteria), according to the following indicators: A. Joint Involvement (0-5 points): 1 large to medium joint (0 points); 2-10 large to medium joints (1 point); 1-3 small joints (with or without large joints) (2 points); 4-10 small joints (with or without large joints) (3 points); More than 10 joints (with at least 1 small joint) (5 points). B. Serology (0-3 points):Both RF and ACPA are negative (0 points); At least one of RF or ACPA is low-titer positive (2 points); At least one of RF or ACPA is high-titer positive (3 points). C. Acute-Phase Reactants (0-1 point): Both CRP and ESR normal (0 points); Either CRP or ESR abnormal (1 point). D. Duration of Symptoms (0-1 point): Less than 6 weeks (0 points); 6 weeks or longer (1 point).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Smoking; 2. Suffering from severe oral diseases; 3. Patients with malignant tumors; 4. Those preparing for pregnancy, pregnant women, and those breastfeeding; 5. Those who have used antibiotics, probiotics, prebiotics, symbiotic agents, immunosuppressants, hormones and other drugs within the last 3 months and have undergone periodontal treatment; 6. Those who have undergone major dietary changes within the last 1 month; 7. Those who cannot cooperate to complete the trial.
