Interventions

Control group:Conventional rehabilitation training: active wrist and finger flexion and extension + grip ball on the day of surgery
elbow and wrist gripping exercises under brace protection from week 0–5
passive movements and isometric contractions without removing the brace at week 4
brace removal at weeks 6–12 for isometric, closed-chain, and resistance training of shoulder girdle muscles, along with functional activities
post-discharge supervision via a WeChat communication group for daily check-ins.
Interventional Group:Evidence-Based Rehabilitation Program for Postoperative Rotator Cuff Repair. Exercise guidance is provided by an interdisciplinary team consisting of physicians, nurses, and rehab

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for rotator cuff injury and is undergoing primary rotator cuff repair; 2. Age >= 18 years; 3. According to the DeOrio classification system, rotator cuff tears are classified as small tears (<1 cm) and medium tears (1–3 cm); 4. Unilateral shoulder injury; 5. Agrees and signs the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of trauma or surgery on the affected shoulder; 2. Impaired cognitive ability and limb movement; 3. Severe osteoporosis; 4. Concurrent severe cardiovascular disease, liver disease, kidney disease, etc.
