Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. Hospital stay in ICU >= 1 night; for awake patients, admission to ICU is no later than 10 pm; for intubated patients, extubation time is no later than 10 pm; patients with tracheotomy are included; 3. Awake patients with a RASS (Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale) score = 0.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have been taking sleeping pills and other sleep-aiding drugs for a long time outside the hospital; 2. Patients with altered consciousness, central nervous system or mental diseases; 3. Patients receiving sedatives or antipsychotic drugs; 4. Patients with delirium at the time of ICU admission (ICDSC (Intensive Care Delirium Screening Checklist) = 4 points).
