Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Clear diagnosis: patients diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency . 2. Diagnostic criteria: (1) adrenocorticotropin deficiency: blood cortisol 3 ug/dl at 8~9 o'clock in the morning and adrenocorticotropin level is normal or lower than the lower limit of the reference range; or blood cortisol is 3~15 ug/dl but blood cortisol peak value 18.1 ug/dl during insulin hypoglycemia excitation test. (2) Thyroid stimulating hormone deficiency: free thyroid hormone 12pmol/L with reduced or normal thyroid stimulating hormone levels. (3) Gonadotropin deficiency: In fertile women with amenorrhea, blood estrogen and progesterone levels decrease with normal or decreased follicle stimulating hormone/luteinizing hormone (LH); in postmenopausal women, estrogen and progesterone levels decrease but follicle stimulating hormone/LH does not increase. Male (60 years) blood testosterone level decreased with normal or decreased LH. (4) Hypofunction of the anterior pituitary gland: the function of the pituitary-gonad axis, thyroid axis and adrenal cortex axis are affected simultaneously.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1). Clinical manifestations, laboratory hormone test results or postoperative pathology suggest functional pituitary adenomas such as pituitary growth hormone adenoma, adrenocorticotropin adenoma, thyrotropin adenoma or prolactinoma. (2) hypophysis caused by the use of exogenous glucocorticoids. (3) Patients undergoing sellar space-occupying surgery had normal anterior pituitary function before operation, but had anterior pituitary function after operation, anterior pituitary hypofunction occurred after surgery, and the operation time was <= 6 months. (4) Patients with severe liver and kidney impairment and cardiac insufficiency. (5) Patients who cannot complete follow-up due to visual impairment, abnormal mental status, and unwillingness to cooperate.
