Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Obesity Cohort — Prospective inclusion of obese patients undergoing weight-loss surgery at the Department of Bariatric Surgery, Qilu Hospital, Shandong University, from June 2025 to June 2028. Inclusion criteria: 1) Obesity patients (BMI >= 27.5 kg/m² with obesity-related comorbidities, or BMI >= 32.5 kg/m²); 2) Age >= 18 years; 3) No claustrophobia, no metallic implants (e.g., pacemakers, metal plates, etc.); 4) No severe organ dysfunction of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, etc. (2) Control group: Benign liver lesion cohort — Prospective recruitment of patients with benign liver lesions undergoing surgical treatment at Shandong University Qilu Hospital from June 2025 to June 2028. Inclusion criteria: 1) Age >= 18 years; 2) No claustrophobia, no metal implants (e.g., pacemakers, steel pins, or plates); 3) No severe organ dysfunction of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, etc.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Obesity cohort Exclusion criteria: 1) Unable to tolerate the examination or poor image quality; 2) Unable to complete follow-up on time; 3) History of liver malignancy or other malignancies; 4) Previous weight loss surgery. (2) Control Group Exclusion Criteria: 1) Unable to tolerate the examination or poor image quality; 2) History of liver malignancy or other malignant tumours.
