Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Admission date from August 2024 to August 2027. 2. Onset age from 29 days to 18 years old 3. Purulent encephalitis with definite pathogen 4. Viral encephalitis with definite pathogen 5. Mycoplasma encephalitis with definite clinical diagnosis 6. Fungal encephalitis with definite pathogen 7. Brain abscess patients with definite or unclear pathogen
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Tuberculous meningitis 2. Definitely diagnosed neoplastic diseases with central nervous system involvement 3. Definitely diagnosed diseases with central nervous system involvement 4. Definitely diagnosed autoimmune meningitis 5. Non-infectious cyst of central nervous system 6. Children who refused to join the group 7. Other situations that may cause neurological development damage: birth < 36 weeks, premature birth, history of ischemia and hypoxia, previous neurological development lag, previous hydrocephalus, head trauma and severe brain contusion
