Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: A. Disease group inclusion criteria 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for depressive disorder in ICD-10: According to the International Classification of Diseases and Diseases, 10th edition (ICD-10), the symptomatological criteria for depression include 3 core symptoms and 7 other symptoms. Core symptoms: (1) low mood; (2) loss of interest and pleasure; (3) Fatigue, loss or loss of vitality. Other symptoms: (1) decreased concentration and concentration; (2) decreased self-evaluation and self-confidence; (3) Self-guilt and sense of worthlessness; (4) think that the future is bleak and pessimistic; (5) Thoughts or behaviors of self-injury or suicide; (6) sleep disorders; (7) Decreased appetite. At least 2 core symptoms and 2 other symptoms are present at the same time to meet the symptomatological criteria for depression. If the symptomatological criteria for depression are met, the duration of the disease must be met for more than 2 weeks, and there are severity criteria that affect work and social interaction, and major mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, organic mental disorders, and depressive symptoms caused by physical diseases should be excluded before depression can be diagnosed. 2. Age 12-60 years old, gender is not limited 3. Subjects voluntarily participate in this study, can cooperate with the examination, and sign the informed consent form (patients under 18 years old shall be signed by their guardians) 4. Best corrected visual acuity 1.0 5. No history of ocular trauma and ocular disease 6. No familial or hereditary eye lesions B. Normal group inclusion criteria Depression and other mental illnesses were excluded after evaluation, and the rest of the inclusion criteria were consistent with the disease group.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Exclusion criteria for the eyes: Amblyopia, glaucoma, severe refractive media opacity, uveitis, pathological myopia, macular diseases, optic nerve disorders, as well as a history of ocular surgery or ocular trauma. 2. Exclusion criteria for the whole body: Presence of systemic diseases that may lead to ocular complications or impair visual function—such as hypertension, diabetes, optic neuritis, etc.—or current use of medications with potential ocular side effects (e.g., chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine); comorbid mental disorders or central nervous system diseases, such as cerebrovascular disease, Alzheimer's disease, and multiple system atrophy.
